Three young men who went missing on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota have been found dead, the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety said early Tuesday morning. Tevin Tyon, 21; Juan Lamont, 24; and Tyrell Wilson, 23, were last seen on May 7. It appears they were involved in an accident while on their way to the Prairie Wind Casino, where they had previously indicated they might go before they disappeared. "Our prayers and condolences go out to their families," the tribal police department said on Facebook. Lamont and Wilson were employees of the Indian Health Service, The Lakota Country Times reported. Tyon was a National Guard soldier who just returned from a tour of duty in the Middle East, the Native-owned paper said. The Lakota Country Times said it was working to confirm the facts of the incident. Over the last two weeks, members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and local agencies engaged in a massive search for the men on the 2.2 million-acre reservation. Get the Story:
