Members of the Nooksack Tribe who are facing disenrollment are seeing more support from the Native American community in Washington.

Representatives of The Nooksack 306 will be present at a rally in Seattle on Monday afternoon to call attention to the disenrollment epidemic in Indian Country. According to Idle No More Washington, speakers include Chairwoman Carolyn Lubenau of the Snoqualmie Tribe, who successfully fought her removal from her people's rolls in 2008.

The Nooksack 306 have been able to stall their disenrollment with a lawsuit in tribal court. The tribe responded by disbarring the group's attorney Gabe Galanda and the Galanda Broadman firm.

According to Original Pechanga, a blog that closely tracks disenrollment disputes, the tribe also fired the judge who has been handling the case. There has been no confirmation of the judge's status.
