A suspect is in custody in connection with the death of a one-year-old girl on the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana.

Tribal, local and federal authorities were investigating the disappearance of Kenzley Ava-Lee Olson when she was found dead in Poplar.

"Officers are on scene investigating and one subject is in custody," the Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday.

The identity of the suspect hasn't been reported. But the sheriff later on Wednesday said two people who had been questioned earlier in the investigation have been cleared in connection with the girl's death.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation, The Great Falls Tribune reported.
