Which winter trends can I wear into spring?
You’ll be pleased to learn that spring 2016 runways were full of similar retro cuts, feminine styles and structured silhouettes — all just re-imagined and updated. And don’t pack away that holiday sparkle just yet: Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Lanvin shone brighter than the Hope diamond when rocking their current collections. Another beloved look from last season was denim, a trend that won’t be leaving us anytime soon. Hang on to any fall/winter purchases. (Bonus points for the high-waist straight legs, which we’ll be seeing all over this spring!) Off-the-shoulder tops have been favored by hip young brands like Proenza Schouler, Sonia Rykiel and The Row. Major spring themes were color and drama, from romantic dresses to bold sleeves and tie-dye prints to Latin-inspired ensembles. Carry over anything with a pop of color and don’t be afraid to mix prints!

I’m seeing so many hair trends, from bobs and bangs to crazy colors. What’s hot this season?
I’ve never regretted a haircut more than three weeks after I got bangs! They’re not as “no fuss” as I am, so it’s a shame they’re hotter than hot right now. Lucky for me, some easier looks are equally as en vogue. I’m a fan of the long bob (“the lob”), spotted on such stars as Jennifer Lawrence, Kerry Washington and the newly lobbed Adele. As for color, ombre (darker color that fades into dirty blond) is the way to go if you want a “naturally” beautiful look that comes with spending time under the Southern California sun.
