The head basketball coach at a public school on the Osage Nation in Oklahoma has been suspended following a pair of arrests by tribal police.

According to news reports, Pawhuska High School boys basketball coach Chad Kills Crow was arrested twice on alcohol-related charges. The second incident occurred on December 21, 2015, two days after his last game, The Pawhuska Journal-Capital reported.

Kills Crow could lose his job but he won't learn his fate until a public hearing takes place on February 29, the paper said. The basketball season will be over by that time so he has been effectively sidelined by the school district.

Kills Crow is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and also has Delaware ancestry, the paper reported. He was a former coach at Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas and only started working at Pawhuska last summer.
