A federal jury convicted a former leader of the Ute Tribe of Utah of sexually abusing a minor. Richard Jenks Jr., 57, was found guilty of one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, The Deseret News reported. The jury deliberated about 3.5 hours, the paper said. Jenks was accused of abusing a minor victim from 2009 through 2014. He was on the council for most of that time. Get the Story:
