A former chairman of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is a co-defendant in a drug case in Michigan, according to news reports. Ken Harrington, 58, turned himself in last week on a charge of possession of marijuana and cocaine. He was released after posting a $200 bond. His son is facing more serious charges. Jonathan Frederick Harrington, 20, remains jailed after being accused of trafficking ecstasy and LSD through the U.S. Postal Service. If convicted on all charges, the younger Harrington faces up to 27 years in prison, according to The Petoskey News-Review. The case stems from a raid on the family's home in April, Up North Live reported at the time. Ken Harrington served as chairman of the tribe until he was recalled in 2011. Get the Story:
