The University of Oklahoma College of Law has established a permanent Native American Law Chair. Professor Lindsay Robertson will serve as the Chickasaw Nation Native American Law Chair. He has more than 25 years of experience in Indian law and serves as justice on the Supreme Court of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. "We applaud the choice of Dr. Robertson as the first Chickasaw Nation Native American Law Chair,” Chickasaw Nation Gov. Bill Anoatubby, said in a press release. “He is a highly respected scholar, who brings an incredible record of achievement to this position. He has been instrumental in helping make the law school a global leader in the field of indigenous law. The chair was established at OU as a gift from the Chickasaw Nation. Get the Story:
