Jonathan Youngbear, a member of the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder. Youngbear, 21, admitted the stabbed and killed his 17-year-old cousin Severn Jefferson. The incident occurred in February 2014 at a home on the reservation. Youngbear faces life in prison with no possibility for parole. Federal prosecutors plan to request a sentence of 25 to 35 years as part of the plea deal. A sentencing date hasn't been reported. Get the Story:
