The Morongo Band of Mission Indians in California will open the first tribally-owned Taco Bell next week.

The tribe is the majority owner of the establishment. It's located on the reservation, right off a major interstate.

"We are delighted that Taco Bell has chosen the Morongo Indian Reservation as its newest location," Chairman Robert Martin said in a press release, KESQ reported. "The addition of the nationally known Taco Bell brand will add to Morongo's strong economic base and provide local jobs."

The Taco Bell is set to open next Tuesday. It will employ 45 people, most from the area, the tribe said in the press release.

The tribe also hosts the first In-N-Out Burger in Indian Country.
