Voters from Tule River Tribe re-elect four incumbents for council

Voters of the Tule River Tribe of California re-elected four incumbents to the council on Saturday.

Duane M. Garfield Sr., Yolanda Gibson, Kevin Bonds and Kenneth McDarment won their re-election bids. A fifth seat was taken by William J. Carrillo, Sr., who has served on the council in the past.

Immediately after the election, the council held its first meeting. Neil Peyron will continue as chairman while McDarment will serve as vice chairman.
