A 32-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the deaths of two people on the Barona Reservation in southern California. Elaina Rose Welch is facing two counts of murder. Authorities believe she killed her three-year-old son and fatally shot a 32-year-old man identified as her boyfriend. A woman on the reservation said tribal police were frequently called to the home to address domestic incidents. “They should have taken it seriously in the beginning,” Brittany Wallace, who is married to one of Welch's cousins, told The San Diego Union-Tribune. “That baby wasn’t safe there at all. Now he is dead.” Get the Story:
