The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians donated $10,000 to the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County in California.

The money will be used to address homelessness in the county. The foundation will help people apply for benefits, housing, health services and other programs.

"This is an organization that provides crucial legal services to people in need, especially those who may find themselves homeless,” Chairman Vincent Armenta said in a press release. “We’re proud to support Legal Aid Foundation.”
