A 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit northern Nevada this morning but a spokesperson for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe said there were no reports of activity from reservation residents. The earthquake occurred at 4:01am, The Reno Gazette-Journal reported. The seismic activity was centered along a highway on the western edge of the reservation, the paper said. The area has seen several earthquakes in the last two days but the 3.1 magnitude was the largest, according to the paper. Get the Story:
