It’s time for the Navajo Nation to enter new global markets and practice free commerce. Every tribe should have the capability to develop new technologies and an opportunity to pursue energy like oil to help the U.S. slow the addiction off the middle east.

The Navajo Nation is the largest Native American tribe in the U.S. who recently purchased the BHP-Navajo Mine. This effort saved hundreds of jobs in San Juan County New Mexico.

This power plant has a real chance to sell, produce, and ship that coal to countries like China, Russia, and the European Union.

Most importantly, I’m glad to hear tribal leaders finally recognize small businesses. This effort will be the first step in whipping our economy back into good health.
