Round Valley brothers arrested in death of fellow tribal member

Two brothers from the Round Valley Tribes of California were arrested in connection with the death of a fellow tribal member.

Jason Freeman-Britton, 21, faces a murder charge for the death of Rosalena “Belle” Rodriguez 21. His brother, Sidney Lewis Freeman, 25, was initially held for murder but now faces a charge of making criminal threats.

Rodriguez's body was found on Sunday morning. She had been shot multiple times, according to a press release from the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.

Rodriguez had gone out with friends on Saturday night or early Sunday morning before she was killed.
