Indigenous activists stage another land rights protest in Brazil

Indigenous activists staged another protest in Brazil on Thursday and demanded a meeting with the nation's top law enforcement official.
More than 300 people took part in the protest at the Justice Ministry in the nation's capital, the Associated Press reported. They wanted to meet with Minister Eduardo Cardozo to discuss legislation that would reduce the size of some reserves.
The event was described as peaceful, in contrast to a clash on Tuesday in which police officers threw tear gas at indigenous activists and other protesters.
