A business owned by the
Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes
of Montana has won a $1.8 million contract.
S&K Electronics
signed a deal with BAE Systems to produce an electronic component that will be used in military equipment around the world.
“It’s great to see that some of our entities are moving forward with all this technology,” Chairman Ron Trahan said at a ceremony to announce the contract, The Missoulian reported. “It helps the economy, and it helps the tribe and the communities here. We’re always happy to see new contracts here.”
