Senate Indian Affairs Committee sets hearing on transportation

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold an oversight hearing next week on transportation.

In 2012, Congress authorized a two-year transportation program. With the law set to expire in September, the Senate Indian Affairs Committee will be taking tribal views on the issue.

The hearing will take place at 10am on Thursday, March 13, in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. A witness list hasn't been posted online.

The hearing is the second to be chaired by Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana), who took over the committee last month.
