The
Omaha Tribe
of Nebraska has declared a state of emergency due to a propane fuel shortage.
The tribe wants the state to allocate more money for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The tribe is citing a rise in fuel prices.
The
Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
also has declared an emergency due to a fuel shortage. One woman died after she was unable to fill up her tank.
