Chairman of Blackfeet Nation confident of making payroll

Chairman Willie Sharp of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana said the tribe has enough money to make payroll.

Council members who are odds with Sharp said there wasn't enough money in the tribe's bank account. But he said the tribe's certified public accountant told him otherwise.

Sharp also said Treasurer Tinsuwella Bird Rattler was fired for mismanagement and theft. Council members were trying to help her regain access to the tribe's office in order to address the payroll matter.
