The
Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians
in Wisconsin will hold a constitutional reform election next Tuesday.
Tribal members are being asked to approve several proposals. The most significant is an amendment to eliminate federal approval for all future changes to the constitution.
Other changes affect the tribal election process.
