Interior Secretary Sally Jewell
will visit
Laguna Pueblo
in New Mexico tomorrow to discuss Indian education issues.
Jewell will tour a
Bureau of Indian Education
school on the reservation. She also will participate in a roundtable to discuss the
American Indian Education Study Group
, a new initiative started by the Obama administration.
Assistant Secretary Kevin Washburn, the head of the
Bureau of Indian Affairs
, is taking part in the events. So is Monty Roessel, the acting director of the BIE.
