Donations are being sought to offset health care costs for comedian Charlie Hill, who has been battling lymphoma cancer.

Hill, who is Oneida, Mohawk and Cree, was diagnosed in 2012. His family has been taking care of him at home and set up a campaign on EverRibbon to assist their efforts.

The Hill family humbly thanks you for your prayers and contributions,” Hill’s daughter, Nasbah, said in a press release.

Hill was the first Native comedian to appear on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He was a writer for the hit Roseanne show.
