Self-help guru vows never to hold fake 'sweat lodges' again

James Arthur Ray, the self-help guru who served 20 months in prison for negligent homicide, said he will never conduct fake "sweat lodges" again.

Ray, 56, appeared on CNN for his first interview since being released from prison. He said he didn't know anyone was in danger during the "ceremony" he held during his $10,000 "Spiritual Warrior" retreat in Arizona in 2009.

"If I could trade places with any of the three, James Kirby or Liz, I would do it," Ray said on CNN, referring to the three people who died.

Ray appears to be restarting his website and self-help career despite serving time.
