Trust reform commission to host webinar on December 10

The Secretarial Commission on Indian Trust Administration and Reform will host a public webinar on December 10.

The commission hosted a webinar on November 20. It was supposed to be the last public meeting but delays associated with the shutdown of the federal government prompted another meeting.

The December 10 meeting runs from 11am to 1:30pm Eastern time, according to a notice in today's issue of the Federal Register. Participants can sign up at www1.gotomeeting.com/register/704255144.

The commission was created by the $3.4 billion settlement to the Indian trust fund lawsuit. Its members have been evaluating trust reform efforts at the Interior Department.

The commission's final report and recommendations will be discussed at the December 10 webinar.
