Council for Native American Farming and Ranching to meet





The Council for Native American Farming and Ranching will meet next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The council was created by the Keepseagle settlement over discrimination at the Department of Agriculture. Its members advise Secretary Tom Vilsack on ways to eliminate barriers to participation for Native American farmers and ranchers.

The meeting takes place December 12-13 at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
