San Pasqual Band plans upgrades at newly acquired golf course

The San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians in California purchased a golf course.

The tribe will be making upgrades at the Woods Valley Golf Club. The facility will remain open during the improvement stage.

“This is still in its baby stage, but we’re taking big steps soon to make it a really nice place for people to come and golf,” Frank Orosco, the vice president of the San Pasqual Economic Development Agency.

The purchase price was not disclosed.
