Duo on Navajo Nation admit guilt for armed robbery at Sonic





A man and woman from the Navajo Nation admitted their guilt in an armed robbery at a Sonic Drive-In on the reservation.

Eddie Shirley, 28, pleaded guilty to using and brandishing a firearm in relation to a crime of violence. He was sentenced to seven years for the November 30, 2012, incident.

Jerrileta Singer, 32, pleaded guilty to committing a robbery in Indian Country. She is due to be sentenced next month.

The crime occurred in Shiprock, New Mexico.
