The
Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of
Pottawatomi Indians of Michigan, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe, plans to build a new government center.
The tribe won approval to change the zoning for 40 acres of agricultural land to commercial use. Plans call for a complex to house all of the tribe's employees in various departments.
The tribe's current building doesn't have enough space to meet future needs, an architect said.
