Four Native designers unveiled a special collection with fashion company Paul Frank last week. Autumn Dawn Gomez (Comanche / Taos Pueblo), Louie Gong (Nooksack), Candace Halcro (Plains Cree / Metis) and Dustin Quinn Martin (Navajo) created items that went on sale online at the Beyond Buckskin Boutique. The artists also participated in a panel discussion on Friday, when the collection was unveiled during the annual Santa Fe Indian Market. The collaboration came about after Paul Frank drew fire for hosting a "powwow" party last year. The company quickly apologized and worked with Jessica Metcalfe, who runs Beyond Buckskin, and Adrienne Keene of Native Appropriations to find Native artists. Get the Story:
