Red Lake Nation breaks ground on government center, college

The Red Lake Nation of Minnesota broke ground on a $21 million complex that includes a government center and tribal college.
The 27,400 square-foot center and 42,000 square-foot college were designed to look like an eagle. The college will include a Head Start, a library and a language center.
The tribe secured $21 million in loans from the
Department of Agriculture
for the project.
