A federal judge in Wisconsin is holding a trial into night hunting by Ojibwe tribes in Wisconsin.

The tribes say they have a right to hunt deer at night under their treaties. But the state disputes the practice, arguing that it isn't safe.

Judge Barbara Crabb previously denied a request by the tribes to allow the hunts. The trial is expected to run all week.
