Blood Tribe police arrest school bus driver for impaired driving

Police from the Blood Tribe of Alberta arrested and charged a school bus driver with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.

Larry Cross Child was carrying 12 children in his bus when he was pulled over on Wednesday morning, The Lethbridge Herald reported. No children were harmed and another bus came to pick them up and take them to school.

"It's very concerning," Blood Tribe Police Acting Staff Sgt. Farica Syrette told the paper. "We took the complaint very seriously."
