A group of protesters erected a roadblock at Whiteclay, Nebraska, in protest of liquor sales in the border town.
Bryan Brewer, the president of the
Oglala Sioux Tribe
, said the roadblock went up yesterday. It wasn't reported if it's still there.
The Pine Ridge Reservation is dry but tribal members can travel a few miles to Whiteclay to buy beer. Brewer himself has joined protests against the sale of liquor there.
