Lower Brule Sioux Tribe
of South Dakota will receive a $300,000 grant from the
Department of Agriculture
.
The tribe will use the money to boost its
Lakota Foods
business. The company markets popcorn products to the general public and grocery stores.
The tribe is matching the USDA grant with $310,000 of its own money.
