American Indian veterans will be honored with a memorial plaque to be placed on the state Capitol grounds. Gov. Mark Dayton signed a bill this week authorizing placement of the plaque on the Court of Honor, a plaza that includes memorials to other groups, such as Civil War veterans, chaplains, women veterans, Mexican-American veterans and others.Get the Story:
