Native American Music Awards
will induct the late activist Russell Means into its Hall of Fame.
Means, who passed away last year at the age of 72, was a member of the
Oglala Sioux Tribe
. He released two albums that exemplified his activist spirit.
NAMA's 14th annual ceremony takes place May 10 at the
Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel
in Niagara Falls, New York, owned by the
Seneca Nation
