Stockbridge-Munsee Community sets recall vote for president

The Stockbridge-Munsee Community of Wisconsin scheduled an April 27 recall election for President Robert Chicks.

Tribal members circulated a petition against Chicks in connection with a traffic citation off the reservation. He allegedly used his tribal credit card to post $300 bond.

Chicks has pleaded not guilty to charges of operating without a license, obstructing an officer, theft and bail jumping.
