Oneida Nation business faces opposition to recycling plant

A business owned by the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is facing internal opposition to a waste recycling plant.

Oneida Seven Generations Corp turned to a site on the reservation after losing a permit in the city of Green Bay due to controversy. Tribal members are now looking for ways to dissolve the company before the project goes any further.

The tribe created the corporation in 1995. It has its own board of directors that acts separately from the tribal council.
