First Nations Development Institute
has awarded $375,000 in grants for food projects in Indian Country.
Ten grants of $37,500 each were awarded to tribes, tribal enterprises and Native Hawaiians. The money will support a variety of food programs.
Grantees include
Nambe Pueblo
in New Mexico, the
Oneida Nation
of Wisconsin and the
Northwest Indian College
in Washington.
