Native Threads lands on shelves in Walmarts across country

Clothing from Native Threads can now be found at Walmart locations across the country.

The process normally takes years but company president Randy Bardwell, a member of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, worked quickly to get the items on the shelves.

"We did it really fast, and the reason it happened so fast is because we were able to put good information together for Walmart," Bardwell told The Navajo Times.

The first shipment arrived before Black Friday 2012, the paper report. The items are currently carried 120 stores and will be sold in 70 in May.
