Senate Indian Affairs Committee holds first business meeting





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold its first business meeting of the 113th Congress on Tuesday.

Among other business, the committee will officially elect Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Washington) as chair. She is the first woman to lead the panel.

The meeting takes place at 3pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. It likely will not be webcast.
