St. Regis Mohawk Tribe offers money for unwanted firearms





The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York is holding a gun buyback program today.

The tribe is offering cash for unwanted firearms, with payouts as high as $200 for assault rifles. Handguns are also being accepted for prices to be determined on site.

A previous buyback resulted netted 41 weapons, The Watertown Daily Times reported.
