The
Winnebago Tribe
of Nebraska has received a $250,000 grant from the
Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community
of Minnesota.
The money will be used to build a new facility for the Winnebago Educare Project. The program will help at-risk youth on the reservation.
Funding for the project is also coming from other sources.
