Sculptures from
Abraham Anghik Ruben
, an Inuit artist from Canada, are featured in a new exhibit at the
National Museum of the American Indian
in Washington, D.C.
"Arctic Journeys/Ancient Memories: The Sculpture of Abraham Anghik Ruben" presents 23 recent works. Ruben focuses on seafaring traditions of Inuit and Norse settlers, drawing connections between two seemingly different cultures.
