Forrest Cuch, the executive director of the economic development corporation for the
Ute Tribe
of Utah, resigned unexpectedly this week, The Vernal Express reports.
Cuch, a tribal member, joined the Ute Tribal Enterprises in July 2011. He said he left due to a “breakdown in communications" with the tribal council.
Cuch was formerly the director of the
Utah Division of Indian Affairs
before he was forced out last May.
