Update on fires burning in Washington, Idaho and Colorado





Wildfires have been keeping tribes busy in Washington, Idaho and Colorado.

The Yakama Nation of Washington said a fire caused by lightning has grown to 500 acres. A crew from the Warm Springs Tribes are helping battle the blaze.

In Idaho, the Nez Perce Tribe is combating a 10-acre blaze. There's no word on the cause but it's about 30 percent contained.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, both Ute tribes were struck. The Hoof Fire on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation and the Sleeping Fire on the Southern Ute Reservation were being cleared up as of Monday.
