TV news director quits after 'drunk Native' Facebook comment

A TV news director in Minnesota has left his position after making a comment on Facebook that compared a "drunk" Native man to an animal.

Jason Vincent, the news director at KQDS, FOX 21, in Duluth, apologized for his comment. But he resigned yesterday, The Duluth News Tribune reported.

The paper tried to contact Vincent and the station's general manager to find out whether he also left the company that owns KQDS.

The comment drew attention after being posted on Fond Du Lac Reservation People's Forum last week.
