More Indian plaintiffs have come forward for a lawsuit alleging abuse by the
Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena
.
The lawsuit was filed last September with 45 plaintiffs from a boarding school on the reservation of the
Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes
. Now, a total of 200 have signed up, including victims from the
Blackfeet Nation
.
“I think we’ve just hit the tip of the iceberg up in that community,” attorney Tim Kosnoff told the Associated Press, referring to the Blackfeet Nation.
